AdobeStock_271232038 Ultrasound Exams

The main purpose of an ultrasound exam through Hope Clinic for Women is to confirm the presence of a viable pregnancy. This includes determining whether the pregnancy is located in the uterus, detecting the presence of a heartbeat, and measuring to determine the approximate gestational age (or how many weeks pregnant you are).

Our ultrasound exams are provided free of charge and are completely confidential as allowed by Oregon state regulations. All exams are performed by nurses or sonographers certified in limited obstetric ultrasound and are read by a licensed physician. Some restrictions apply.

Performing ultrasound exams during pregnancy is a very safe and painless procedure. The ultrasound uses no radiation exposure.

We do not use ultrasound exams to determine sex. Some restrictions apply.

Schedule a pregnancy confirmation appointment today. A nurse will determine if you qualify for a free ultrasound exam.

Hope Clinic for Women is a non-profit medical clinic dedicated to providing life-affirming care, pregnancy help, and resources. Hope Clinic for Women offers pregnancy testing, ultrasound exams, and options education that are free of charge; however, we do not offer nor refer for abortion services.
