At Hope Clinic, we believe every parent has the opportunity to thrive when given access to great tools, accurate information, and encouragement. Thriving parents lead to healthy, thriving children and communities, which is why we are happy to provide in-person prenatal and new parent classes, at no cost, to the public. Pregnancy Class Schedule (Free and In-Person)
Join our in-person course on pregnancy on Thursdays, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. The 3-class series repeats every 2 months. Dinner will be provided for you and your significant other (spouse, boyfriend, mother, or friend). You will have an opportunity to ask your pregnancy-related questions to our staff, which includes a Registered Nurse and an occasional guest speaker. Each class also provides special baby gift treasure(s)!
Register now to reserve your spot! After registering, you can expect to start receiving text reminders for all classes unless/until you opt-out by replying to one of the texts. Please confirm with how many people will coming so we plan enough food. You are welcome to bring a support person. Children are also welcome but we are unable to provide childcare and they must stay under your supervision.

Expectations for 2nd Trimester/Eating for Two
[1st PREGNANCY CLASS]
This class covers changes to expect in your 2nd trimester and how to eat to maintain your good health while you grow a strong and healthy baby. Learn about the emotional ups and downs of pregnancy and how to deal with them while you and your partner begin to bond with your unborn baby.
If you miss one of these classes, note that each class is scheduled every other month, check this site to find the next time your desired class will be offered.

These single-session “bonus” classes are additional classes on caring for your baby. They are scheduled below on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. (except during holidays) and will also provide dinner for two. Topics may vary based on attendee interests. You may continue to attend this class every month if the topic appeals to your interest or needs.

Embracing Fatherhood, Part Two
It’s not uncommon for new dads to feel overwhelmed once the new baby arrives. This class review what your role can be. You are not the backup parent, you are Dad and you are so very important. Besides discussing your role as protector, provider, encourager, this class will provide tips and tricks for helping Mom with keeping baby safe, feeding, diaper changing, bathing, and playing with baby.

Infant and Child Car Seat Safety
Our special ODOT guest Certified Child Passenger Safety Seat Technician will provide a detailed guidance in selection of car seat features and installation. She will answer any questions you may have and share resources for free installation and obtaining low-cost child safety seats for families that qualify.
